What’s included with the cost?

Guided Tours include: Kayak, Life Jacket, Paddle, Dry Pack, Guide(s), & Photos of your trip uploaded to facebook after the trip.

Kayak Rentals include: Kayak, Life Jacket, Paddle, Dry Pack, & the delivery and pick up of equipment.

Is there an age minimum/maximum?

We have taken children as young as 2 on our tours. Small children can “ride duff” which means in the lap of their parent in a single kayak. Kids starting around 5 will be better accommodated in a tandem (2 seater) kayak.

There is no maximum age limit but anyone who is not strong enough to paddle their own kayak will need to be in a tandem (2 seater) kayak.

Should I Tip?

We will always strive to deliver you a memorable day while with us. If you thoroughly enjoyed yourself, tips are greatly appreciated. The tip is divided equally between your guides. If you are unable to tip, no worries, but please tell your friends about your fun outing!

What is your Cancellation Policy?

If poor weather interferes with your outing causing us to cancel the tour, a full 100% refund will be issued. We can also move your reservation to another date. Cancellations other than weather-related, are subject to our reasonable cancellation policy.

• “2 Day Cancellation” (48+ hrs before start time) = Full Refund

• “Day & a half Cancellation” (25 hrs - 47 hrs) = Half Refund

• “24 hr Cancellation” = No Refund

• No Shows = No Refund

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, all kayaks have a “maximum capacity”. Most single kayaks max cap ranges from 225 - 300 lbs. Tandem Kayaks range from 425 - 625 lbs. If this is a concern, please let us know in the planning phase so we can best accommodate.

Can I bring my own kayak/canoe/SUP to a guided tour?

Yes! We refer to you guys as BYOK’s (Bringing Your Own Kayak). The cost to do this is $20 per person except for Stallings which is $30 per person. Stallings is more because there is much more leg work and because we typically cap these tours to 15 people.

Do you provide shuttle services?

CWT does not have a shuttle service. However, we do team with a couple shuttle busses in the area to get you back to your car.

Also, it is worth noting that our two most popular routes (Stallings Island & Betty’s Branch) do not require a shuttle as you will start and finish at the same launch.

I can’t swim, am I still allowed to come?

We do prefer our guests to be comfortable around the water but we will not turn you away if you can’t swim. I personally applaud your bravery for stepping outside of your comfort zone! You will have your lifejacket on at all times.

Do you have Serene 18 Stamps?

We do! We are very proud to be a preferred paddle partner of the Serene 18 and can stamp ya after a paddle or even in crossing if you are not a customer.

What forms of payment do you take?

To lock in your reservation, we need to collect prepayment. This can be done through our Business Venmo or Cash App. If you do not have these apps, you can call us at 706-840-0433 to run your card.

Where is your storefront?

Believe it or not, we do not have a brick and mortar. This business has been a side hustle since 2011 and all of our outings are done by reservation. We meet our customers at different locations on the river depending on your route choice.

Should I choose a Guided Tour or Kayak Rentals?

Most of our routes (minus Stallings Island) are very easy to navigate which means Kayak Rentals are perfectly easy to do. However, our guided tours are a blast! You will meet other outdoor lovers and be sure to have a great time learning about the area and wildlife and may even get you a snazzy new profile pic.

Can you assist in big group outings?

We love working with large groups! We have accommodated many churches, businesses, scout troops, military, sports teams, and family reunions. Please call or email us to start this process.

What if you are not touring on my available dates?

Unfortunately, this gig is Cole and all the guides side hustle. We will try our best to accommodate you. Please give us a call and we can see what we can do.

Will the guides serenade my lady and I in a big swan?

No. That is a gondola and that is in Italy. (Yes we’ve been asked this)
